Our certification programs are based on the German Environment Agency’s (UBA) recommendation on conformity assessment for the hygienic suitability of products in contact with drinking water. The PDF document is available here.

We are an accredited certification body recognized by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS).

To conduct the assessments required as part of the certification process worldwide, HyCert collaborates with reputable external inspection bodies that have many years of experience in auditing and sampling. In addition, assessments are also carried out by qualified in-house staff of the Institute.

If you would like to begin the certification of your product, simply download the certification application form and send the completed document to cert@hyg.de. After reviewing your application, HyCert will determine whether the product can be certified by our organization and will then provide you with a certification agreement for mutual signature. You will also receive all documentation required to carry out the certification process.
