Foundations of Our Work
Our Department of Drinking Water and Recreational Water Hygiene conducts and professionally evaluates microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses related to drinking water and bathing water. We support water supply companies, water procurement associations, private well operators, plumbing contractors, swimming pool operators, and private individuals in all matters concerning water hygiene.
Quality First
All laboratories within the department, as well as the associated sampling procedures, are accredited by DAkkS (German Accreditation Body). This accreditation is a prerequisite for official approval by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia as a drinking water testing laboratory in accordance with Section 15(4) of the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV).
